Who's the Gnollin Forgemaster?
The Gnollin Forgemaster belongs to an ancient and deeply unfortunate people, smaller and leaner than Dwarves and commonly dismissed by less imaginative cultures as mere “goblins” or “little folk.”
The Gnollin are unmatched in the forging of magical artefacts, a talent that has made them highly sought after, frequently exploited, and understandably suspicious of anyone carrying a contract. Forced into lives of secrecy, wandering, and isolation, their already scarce population has slowly dwindled until they are now believed to be almost extinct.
The few who remain continue to preserve their old techniques, shaping enchanted metal with equal parts mastery, stubbornness, and quiet nostalgia. Every artefact they forge carries the weight of a fading culture, although the Forgemaster would probably prefer that you admired the workmanship before becoming sentimental about it.
