Dwarven Avalanche!

Over the past few months, together with the tireless resin artisans at Valquiria Studio, we have been working feverishly on the biggest physical release of the last two years: an avalanche of Dwarves.

As I hinted at the beginning of the year, we took full advantage of the frankly unreasonable number of components sculpted by Valerio for the Patreon releases and turned them into five separate kits, allowing you to assemble nine characters however you like. Add to that the new incarnation of the Iron Crow Veteran, and we arrive at a satisfyingly round number.

SHARPEST BLADES

The first kit, Sharpest Blades, allows you to assemble three Iron Crow Warriors armed with Dwarven Blades and Shields, or Pair Blades. As you can see, the number of included components is well beyond the bare minimum, giving you plenty of freedom to customise your models, experiment with poses, and create unique combinations.

Sharpest Blades, however, is not merely a happy little island of Dwarven might. It is also part of a modular system with two other kits: Mighty Axes and Hard Steel.

MIGHTY AXES

Mighty Axes allows you to assemble two Iron Crow Warriors armed with Great Axes. Fully modular with Sharpest Blades, this kit adds even more components to mix and match, giving you yet more ways to build your ideal adventurer.

HARD STEEL

Hard Steel, meanwhile, lets you assemble one Iron Crow Iron Warrior equipped with Shield and Spear. Let the wear and tear of modern life break itself against the sturdy armour plates of this indestructible little tank. Like Mighty Axes, this kit is fully modular with Sharpest Blades, meaning you can even reuse the closed helmet head that you do not mount on the Iron Warrior and donate a little extra protection to one lucky Warrior.

WANDERING ARROWS

True, Bardin and Lorin already offer two splendid variants of the Iron Crow Sentinels, but why stop at two when three is clearly a much more respectable number?

Wandering Arrows lets you assemble a glorious Iron Crow Sentinel with several alternative build options.

SWIFT BOLTS

And finally, Swift Bolts. By popular demand, the female variant of the Iron Crow Sentinels, packed with alternative assembly options and, I can confirm from personal experience, genuinely great fun to paint. I have already painted mine.

IRON CROW VETERAN

The new incarnation of the Iron Crow Veteran will be called upon to guide this picturesque band of recruits, with a revised design intended to make the model more imposing and more enjoyable to paint.

IMPERIAL CROW FAMILIARS SET

One of the great bestsellers of Inneath, the Imperial Crows, also return in a new form that is easier to paint and less fragile to handle, while preserving all the personality that made them so popular in the first place.

Indispensable on the battlefield, these tiny sentries will be a constant thorn in your opponent’s side and the best possible companions for your Iron Crow Sentinels.

I have to say, the last few months have been incredibly exciting, even if I may not have managed to communicate that properly here or on social media. I have been painting day and night to give these releases the presentation they deserve, and even though it has gone somewhat under the radar so far, I also believe the coming months will finally give me the chance to shine more light on the game rules, which are now taking their first public steps.
