So I am not pleased with any of the photos I have been taking to post. Does anyone have any suggestions or resources they use for taking miniature pictures. I have tried a couple different iPhones as well as a Digital SLR Camera.

Hi Mark.
- I find that a light box (either homemade or one bought on an online shop, there are some for about 10$ with LED lights that do the job well) is really helpful. - Phones tend to have heavy processing even if you deactivate everything you can. But it really depends on your model, so experimenting with it will be the key.
- if your background is dark, the camera will try to compensate and make it too bright (so prevent that by reducing the target EV). If it's white, the opposite :-)
- try not to use a too wide aperture, otherwise most of your photo will be blurry
Hope it helps!
Hi Mark!
I found this video very useful and well explained: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWzHqpvm7Ck
Remember: the first and most important secret to get good quality photographies is a proper illumination (after all "photos" in greek means "light"!)
